This painting was not in any point planned. As clear as the surface of the water was, so clear was my inspiration, which came to me by the water, and I received it enthusiastically.
Strong white sunlight reflected off the water surface, and that bright white shrouded the forests around the lake and floated the yachts.
The first painting of that morning may not have worked, but this second one lit me and cheered me up.
