There was a lot of interesting in this place that day, a clear river weaving around old trees and disappearing snow-capped hills in the distance. Anyone would have chosen their painting subject, and me either.
However, as I circled around a row of small fir trees had excited me more than a pretty scenes from before. I had a direct fascination from vision of playing with the shapes, how the lights were dancing, coming, leaving, moving and how the colors were exploding there. In short, any other beautiful landscape would not have enchanted me more that day.
I painted on wood for the first time. It's much closer to me to paint nature on natural material because it keeps its beauty even underneath the paint and everything i create will never disappears from its familiar environment. It stays.
