That painting was a pretty though one. Granny's water lily pond, surrounded by huge dry cactus, attracted me a little bit too much, and my lost balance did the rest. Fighting my way through cost me a DOUBLE heel-splitting from the prickles. I was so done before the actual work/painting even started. Well, it represents a big progress for me, especially in the parts where colors penetrate each other and establish a pleasant harmony. I'm also trying to incorporate interesting elements. For example, the previously mentioned lines softening the thick strokes that just eft the waving of the water surface between the water lilies. I am proud of the colors and the shapes are quite alright eighter. Stabbed feet - definitely worth it. Your thoughts?
