The complete opposite to the previous painting "Ants Scared the Fog from Me", the only thing I was worried about this time was squirrels tossing 'pinecone grenades' all around me.

All the time I was just watching the sun climb up the stems. First it climbed the trees next to me, then it climbed the ones in front of me, then the ones further away from me, and eventually the glow also disappeared from the stems in the greatest distance. That's why I think I've taken the (unintentionally) master tactic of starting from the closest to the furthest away and finished with the last ray.

On our way home was dark night already and we saw bats flying overhead, and fireflies lining the edges of the path for us.

It's unreal what color resolution our vision has, how many colors it can recognize and capture. But there are many more, and my eye is yet learning to uncover them.
