A quick visit for a day to Germany, Berzdorfer See
The wide calm water surface, the other shore sprinkled with wind turbines, me with my easel in the water and the approaching evening
If an X-ray of this painting had been taken, it would have revealed a phased course starting from the underneath layer of midday light, to an upper and visible layer of the pink haze. That's why I prefer sunrises, starting with a beauty that will soon dissipate. But here it's graduating, and I have to keep adding, because I'm more and more fascinated by what's yet to come.
I'd like to visit it there soon again.
