DAY 3 of the pleinair in Písečná near by Žamberk in Czech republic
It was obvious that a yellow-themed sunset won't be long, but 3 mins was an unfortunate surprise. I don't remember time when my palette knife has jumped between panel and palette like this... I managed to finish the painting, but I'd give anything to prolong the moment of that sunset.
- What I wrote here was 2-month-old holiday experience, now I believe that I can maintain the impression of that moment, and don't need to have the scene in front of my eyes all the time.
The scene helps me to evoke an impression in me, not to fully decribe itself.
