Notning can trump this experience. When I paint a painting, I need to feel those emotions from places and see the experiences as if I was there again. When I look at this painting, the emotions blind me and the experiences overwhelm me.

Through the horrible cold, snow and frost, I pushed my way through the white tops. I've been searching for the right spot for a long long time and finally found it! The sky was white the whole time, but it was always different tone of white. The snow was increasing and after seven hours I was frozen to death.

The plan was to call my family to pick me up. My phone froze, my other backup phone did, too. The mountains were wide open, but I felt locked. The paint on the palette froze, legs and hands froze. There's no stranger around because it's getting dark and even colder. I can't leave it all here... Thank God (I truly thanked) when my grandmother's black dog jumped out from behind a white tree.

Now I'm warm by the fireplace and hopefully without pneumonia, just with a painting rich in adventure.
