My first "window" canvas (for the first time I have a frame reinforced with two criss-crossing centerbars) and also it's my biggest pleinair painting ever.
Two years ago, I painted this maple, and now I've decided to capture its flaming crown in full size and beauty.
Rich red star petals fluttered with the wind all around my canvas. The sun passing through the leaves colored the tops of the branches pink, while the grass glowed green on the bottoms.
Colors so beautiful, my eye couldn't name them.
