I'm off for a nocturne painting of chateau garden trees. Silence and darkness, only the light of my headlamp sweeps across dim objects.
When all of a sudden I uncovered the secret of the night. Trees, bushes, and grass, all silvery white, as if it was snowing. It was frost, but in the summer? I unlocked the gate of the chateau and pointed a light on an old oak tree. The frost shone all over his silver crown.
One moment later, my headlamp went dead and I was left with the darkness. However, the silver crown was so bright to shine through the whole night. No one believed me that the light captured on the canvas was a natural phenomenon. But the photos were my evidence, and I defended the miracle. I spent two nights with this beautiful oak tree.
It was surreal, so glamorous this silver hour.
