You have no idea how massive joy and excitement was awakened in us from this place. That we would find such a paintable stormy river was not even what we had hoped for in our most adventurous imaginations.
The time and water here passed so fast, and yet seemed to stop to me.
I love to paint water with its bright, shadowy areas of colors, its reflections and glimmers of surface, its roaring sparkling, its movement of individual streams, which eventually pour in and unite into a painting.
