Day 5 on island Vir in Croatia
A place, with fiery energy, where people travel to experience the burning red cliffs beneath their feet in the setting sunlight. Obviously, that, I'm not going to pass up this opportunity. The easel is already standing, the rocks are blushing, a knot of tourists is gathering. Funny how people aren't used to painters in real life.
I observe the ends of the land, washed over by the gently pinking sea, blush. Where the red disk of light can't see, the stone in the shadow feels cold, almost blue. The light changes rapidly and the sun barely stays afloat now. Then it dives into an endless sea.
The fire died.
