A purple stormy blanket of dark clouds flowed over the beautiful varied fields. Where the blanket was torn a window of bright sunshine in the yet dark sky appeared, and it instantly lit up the ripe gold ears below. These holes of light ran all the way across the field to me, creating a magical light show.
In the distance, between the darkened overgrown landscape, a church's red spire was calling for a light, and each time the sun showed the spire seemed to rejoice.
Flies and white butterflies were all over the fields, so I didn't feel alone at all.
