Day 2 of the school plein air 2023 in Broumov
I've always wanted to paint a red field full of poppy heads. But one must be modest and seek beauty even in the little, that way it can become so much.
The two poppy heads were calling me as soon as I saw a little of bright red on the whole cold field of endless grain.
However, the group school trip did not allow me to disconnect from the others and stay with my poppies, so in the hot sun we kept going. After some time they let us find a place for painting, it didn't matter how far we'd come. I turned without a second thought and went all the way back to my beloved red couple still lovely and still waiting for my return.
