My knees may have hurt after hours kneeling in the grass at the easel, due to the viewing angle, which I chose.
The wind may have been blowing from the water, and it might have been quite cold.
The families, who explained to their children what the weirdo was doing there, may have been slightly distracting. But all this didn't seem to exist the moment my mum brought me some fresh mint tea. And also perhaps I was too busy with the painting to notice these trifles. Hehe...
What was revolutionary for my art is that red line lining the white heads of daffodils. In my subsequent paintings, I often continue to apply similar lines for their calming effect on paintings.
