This painting was already emerging when nature was still resting in white, that was the first time I saw that strip of light.
Later one day on May I was desperately hiking and hoping for flowering meadows. In the early evening I returned home tired and sad. But then a memory of that winter scene replayed in my head and I hopped back on my feet with new energy and hope and rushed to the hills again.
It was different from then, but I was amazed again. The light path was gradually decreasing before disappearing completely. There were deer all around me, circling and watching over me.
For me this painting is energetic, the strokes describe the volatility and my intuitive feelings without any filters or later retouches. Just the pure impression of the moment.
