It was a long trip along the river. There was no bridge anywhere to take me to the much-wanted opposite bank of the river, and no place to be thrilled about and start a painting.
As I was melting in the warmth, I see a beautiful willow by the river. I was looking for the right spot to paint it from and came to the conclusion that it was from exactly the same spot where one and only fisherman stood. I was circling around him for about half an hour and the finally settled down.
He turned out to be a cool guy who used to paint this places, too, and we had a good chat.
I painted for quite a while, and when the sun finally stopped baking me, the pink tones mixed in and I finished the painting, but continued enjoying the sunset, because it was fairy tale.
