I didn't really think I'd find anything interesting anymore. I walked around the pond with my head closely fixed on the water reflection, but nothing spoke to me here. As I was slipping away, I took one last turn toward my setback and caught a glimpse of this -
- such a simple phenomenon and yet so convoluted and magical. I started the work immediately. As time passed, everything around grew progressively stronger on the red accent. And I stared at how even more beautiful it got since the beginning.
The work swallowed me up, but I kept the awareness of my brush strokes to get to the desired result and I think I made it there.
